On Tuesdays we have The Visual Book with Warren Lehrer. The assignment for last class was to choose any book and transform it, so that the visual form complimented, contradicted, or in some way illuminated our view of the book. I choose Maira Kalman’s book because to me it is a book about “learning how to live and learning how to die”.
